Vera Lillas Hinkle Eckhardt- “Gammy”

Vera was born on 2/15/1926 the only child of Dorothy Knisley Hinkle and Glen Hinkle at her Uncle Robert Hinkle’s home up the road from her family farm where she spent her entire life. God welcomed her home on 3/7/2021. Vera married her high school sweetheart Elmer LeRoy Eckhardt on 6/29/1943. They were blessed with four beautiful daughters Glendine June Delaney (Tom), Diana Lynn Song, Tamira Lee Wilson (Bob), and Valerie Kay Vail (Don) that she was so proud of. Vera considered her greatest accomplishments to be her marriage of 60 years, her children, and her 65 plus years of 4-H leadership. She was preceded in death by her loving husband and parents. She is survived by her daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. The celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made out to Washakie County 4-H and mailed to P.O. Box 730 Worland, WY 82401. Arrangements have been entrusted to Veile Mortuary.
