John Taylor Watts, son of the late Joseph E. Watts and Kersey Barnes Taylor Watts, was born on April 16, 1949, passed away at his home in Worland, Wyoming on Sunday September 18, 2022, at the age of 73. John spent his formative years on his parent’s tobacco farm in Freeman, Virginia. John volunteered for the Vietnam War by enlisting in the Army on January 30, 1969, and served Honorably until June 13, 1972. John spent many years travelling the country and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping often.
John is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Joseph E. Watts Jr. He is survived by his son, Joshua T. Watts (Holly); grandson Jameson M. Watts; daughter, Emily Watts Manning (Collin); sisters Mary Ann Watts Duncan, Karen Watts Beadnell; brother, Julius Lee Watts (Cathy); his former spouse Bonnie S. Watts; and numerous nephews.
