On the morning of January 9, 2020, Glenda Schroeder passed peacefully in her sleep at the age of 76 in end stages of Alzheimers. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Glenwood and Barbara Lambert. Glenda is survived by her younger sister Sharon, children Robyn and Larry Ripa, their spouses and children (6 grandchildren), a nephew and nieces, and husband Robert Schroeder. She was a McKinley Goldbug alumni and an avid traveling bowler. She worked for over 20 years as a clerk for the Federal Probation and Parole office in St. Louis, Missouri where she was a devoted Cardinals fan. She retired to Waterloo, Illinois where she designed her own earth bermed home. She loved traveling with Robert and Montana in the camper across the western portion of the United States. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity for animals. Glenda will be cremated and a portion of her ashes will be spread in the Hot Springs of Thermopolis, Wyoming in a private ceremony with loved ones. Her ashes will also be buried at the family plot at Graniteville Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Veile Mortuary.
