Rebecca Lynne (Whittemore) Edwards

Rebecca Whittemore Edwards, 65, passed away on Sunday July 21, 2019 in Worland WY from pancreatic cancer. Becky was born in Davenport Iowa on July 22, 1954. She moved to Wyoming in the early 70s then to Texas in the late 70s. She retired from the Department of Justice and moved back to Wyoming in the summer of 2018 to get back to the mountains. She loved going to church and singing. Among a few of her favorite things was enjoying ice cream with her kids and grandkids and watching old gameshows. She loved everyone and tried to make the world a brighter place. Her heart and smile was larger than life. She helped any and everyone she could and passed that down to her kids and grandkids. Words cannot describe how much of a caring and wonderful daughter, sister, friend, grandmother and most of all Mom she was. She loved God and put her faith in the Lord till the very end. 

She is survived by her daughter Meredith Dobbs, son and daughter in-law David(Hayley) Edwards, her grandchild RJ and Megan Dobbs, her brother Donald(Cecilia) and their sons and spouses John(Ashley), JD(Taylor), Robert(Meredith), Daniel(Haley) and Nick(Chris). She was preceded in death by her husband Luther Dee Edwards, parents Dr Joe D. and Margaret Whittemore, brothers David and Robert Whittemore.
